It’s been nothing short of crazy since my last blog. Recently discovered that my college transcripts were calculated incorrectly. I have a 3.75 GPA, not 3.17, which is great!
Sadly, I only learned about the HeroX American-Made Solar Prize almost 24-hours ago. I immediately sprung into action and tried to submit my first Solar Power Satellite (SPS) Moon-sX concept to explain my new SPS Moon-Z project design, but I don’t think it will work. It seems my SPS entry is still being reviewed by my fellow solar peers this weekend, but it may not make it because I didn’t have my newest SPS design prepared. We will see… For whatever it’s worth, my designs are very similar, still sphere, but instead of a single sphere it would be a network of solid spheres.
For now, I submitted an entry which is only visible to the other solar challengers. If you are interested in my HeroX profile you can see it here, I am the Captain. 😉
If I don’t succeed this time around, I will definitely have my new SPS Moon-Z concept design and tech paper ready for the next HeroX’s American-Made Solar Prize Challenge! I am a bit broken-hearted that I didn’t learn about the American-Made Solar Prize Challenge sooner…c’est la vie.
Will keep everyone posted should anything good happen with the American-Made Solar Prize!
Have a great weekend!
